The status of Sony PRS-505 Gsoc2008

First week (26.05-01.06)

• Get a serial consloe after receiving the Sony PRS-505. Because of earthquake，the deliver was delayed about a week
• Add MTD driver support NOR and NAND Flash drivers was added , sdmparse have not been done

Second week (02.06-08.06)

• Port s1r72v17 usb driver DONE

Third week (09.06-15.06)

• Disassemble the 505 and get a serial consloe DONE

Fourth week (16.06-22.06)

• Solder a bootstrap config pin swith , so it can download a bootloader into the device. DONE

Fifth week (23.06-29.06)

• Port the mx1ads' bootloader source code in bootstrap mode to support the Sony PRS-505 DONE

Sixth week (30.06-06.07)

• Port the u-boot to the 505 devices DONE

Seventh week (07.07-13.07)

• Make the least kernel can work on the 505 device with some basic driver (The NOR flash and NAND flash works well now)

Eighth week and Ninth week (14.07-27.07)

• Make the usb driver can work on 505 (the usb-eth has worked well, the 505 can boot from nfs)

Tenth week (28.07-03.08)

• Make the usb-gfile work on 505 TBD
• Port eink driver to work on 505 (it can display the picture ,but its fb interface needs to be modified)

Eleven week (04.08-10.08)

• Rewrite the eink driver with usual fb interface and support the deferred_io (the new driver can work well and deferred_io have some bugs to be fixed)
