About IPlinux

OpenInkpot is based on embedded Linux distribution called  IPlinux. IPlinux provides basic Linux packages and OpenInkpot develops e-ink specifics.

OpenInkpot strives to use as much of regular libraries as possible, so application developers are advised to develop applications on their PC and then cross-compile and test them on the real devices. The cross-compilation process will result in the creation of deb packages which can be installed on device via SSH access.
