- Milestone changed from 0.1 to bluesky
It really helps to have an idea what fonts should look like. Pushing to bluesky until someone who knows the Chinese typography steps in and implements it.

We have quite compact "Droid Sans Fallback". The question is if it should be installed by default (as fallback font in fontconfig configuration probably).
see http://www.mail-archive.com/fedora-fonts-list@redhat.com/msg00639.html post and the whole discussion.

WenQuanYi MicroHei 0.2beta is released. it's based on google droid fallback fonts, added lots of chinese characters, but the file size is still small and suitable for embedded devices.
this is the best chinese for oi, maybe.

Perhaps we can try MicroHei. http://wenq.org/index.cgi?MicroHei_BigBang_README

- Version set to post-0.1 snapshot
Droid Sans Fallback is now installed to the firmware by default.
MicroHei looks nice, should we replace Droid fonts with this one? Are there glyphs present in Droid Sans Fallback, but missing from Micro Hei?

Moving to later milestone, as there is Chinese font in firmware and no reaction from native readers regarding the quality of fonts.

The QenQuanYi font suggested by diony is already included in 0.2 rc. The quality is very good.
